This year Dylan's school took the 2nd graders to the Dallas Arboretum . We had never been before, so it was exciting to visit.
I wasn't sure how much a 2nd grade boy could enjoy a giant flower garden, but it turned out to be a lot of fun for all the kids (and moms).
They had this little village of replica cabins from the pioneer days. That was by far the boys favorite part of their field trip. That and just running around chasing each other around the gardens.

It was so beautiful and peaceful, even with rowdy boys running around.
I can't wait to see what fun trips 3rd grade will hold!
